Showcasing Googles machine learning platform; TensorFlow. Google China wanted to use the traditions of Chinese ceramics to keep this beauty alive for a new audience and inspire a younger generation.
As a multi studio collaboration lead by Future Deluxe and the team at Google the interactive experience was engineered to recognise different human gestures and body movements, colours, patterns and forms, triggering the morphing of different pottery shapes and finishes in real time allowing for endless play and discovery as you create unique interpretations based on traditional archetypes.
The project holds a quality of inclusion rarely seen in real time interactive, this is done by laboured, researched and authentic art direction in combination with 4k output and custom export/plugin for substance and Unity.
The touring AI showcase was part of a traveling exhibit by Google.
